Scoring

Scoring basics

Start the division, open a fixture, use its pad — every point flows to standings live.

Scoring opens when you start the division (why starting locks setup). From then on, every fixture has a score pad tuned to its sport: sets and games for racquet sports (tennis scores like tennis — deuce, tie-breaks and all), overs and wickets for cricket, periods, penalties and shoot-outs for the hockeys, a plain score pad for everything else.

The flow

  1. Open the fixture (from the fixtures tab, the board, or My matches for scorers).
  2. Start the match, enter points as they happen — or just the final score at the end.
  3. Finalize when it's done. Standings, progression and public dashboards update on every entry.

Corrections

Results are an append-only ledger: fixing a mistake adds a correction rather than erasing history, so a disputed scoreline can always be reconstructed. Finalized matches are locked; an admin can void a wrongly-entered match before finalization.

Common questions

Two people scored the same match at once? The second entry is rejected and refreshed rather than silently overwriting — see score conflicts.
