Withdrawals

People drop out. Withdraw (on the entrant) removes them without wrecking the draw — the repair depends on the format and how much has been played.

What happens

• League tables, early — if the entrant played under half their matches, their results are expunged and remaining fixtures removed, as if they were never in.
• League tables, late — past halfway, played results stand and remaining opponents get walkovers, so nobody is punished for having already beaten them.
• Brackets — the next opponent gets a walkover; earlier rounds stand.
• Open formats (ladders, americano) — their remaining fixtures are voided.

The division's history records the withdrawal and every fixture it touched.

Common questions

Is it reversible? The withdrawal itself is recorded and final — re-add the entrant as a new entry if they return next season.

Registration refunds? If they registered online, withdrawing a registration before entries lock refunds automatically; after that it's your call from the registrations panel.
