Add entrants

Entrants are who competes — the teams, players or pairs in a division.

Four ways in

• Type them — the entrants tab takes one name per line; paste a whole list at once.
• Import a spreadsheet — upload CSV or Excel; you get a dry-run preview of exactly what will be created before anything is written.
• Open registration — let players sign themselves up from your public page, with optional entry fees, custom questions and a waitlist. See Open registration.

Seeds and withdrawals

Set seeds on the entrants tab to control bracket placement. If someone drops out after fixtures exist, use Withdraw — the schedule repairs itself with walkovers or expunged results depending on how far the division has run (details).
